Mother’s Day is quickly approaching (May 8th, for those of you keeping score), and we have a gift suggestion that will make Mom feel special and help a great cause.
Our friends at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are selling Mother’s Day gifts and three different types of cards for Mother’s Day: e-cards, cards that will be mailed out or cards you can print. Some of the cards feature original artwork from children receiving treatment at St. Jude. Others features images of the children themselves. Whichever option and whichever card you choose – you can then make a donation to St. Jude in Mom’s name and leave a personalized message for her.
Here’s why efforts like this are so important. St. Jude relies on donations and corporate sponsorships to do the great work it does. Families of children who receive treatment there never get billed for services, hotel stays, food or travel. It’s all covered with money raised from donations and corporate sponsors.
