As the Window World Cares Charity Golf Classic quickly approaches, we wanted to share a bit more with you about why we put on this golf tournament. It’s to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
St. Jude depends on its corporate partners, like Window World, to carry out its amazing goal. Hand in hand, we passed a milestone of $5 million in donations to St. Jude, and today we are even more committed than ever before. All proceeds collected at our Charity Golf Classic will be donated to the organization as we hope to reach new goals.
Why support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital?
St. Jude is working hard to find cures for childhood diseases. Because most of the funding for this organization comes from individual contributors, St. Jude has the time and freedom to focus on what matters most. When you fundraise or donate, you are helping St. Jude find cures to pediatric cancer and other deadly diseases.
In addition, families whose children receive treatment at St. Jude never receive a bill for services, lodging, food or travel. It’s all covered by St. Jude’s partners and donations. St. Jude shares its knowledge and research to the world with one mission—to save thousands of more children. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from a mere 20% to more than 80% in just 50 years.
How you can help
Have fun! You can help raise money for St. Jude by simply playing golf!
