The Window World corporate office and Window World Cares non-profit organization made a big announcement this week. After presenting a $50,000 check to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital following the St. Jude Presents concert in North Carolina, it pushed Window World over the $5 million mark in donations to St. Jude!
Here’s why that is such a big deal. St. Jude depends on corporate partners like Window World to carry out its amazing goal. Families whose children receive treatment at St. Jude never receive a bill for services, lodging, food or travel. It’s all covered because of St. Jude’s partners and donations.
“With over 200 Window World franchises nationwide, our partnership with the hospital is a great opportunity for our local stores to come together in support of the work this organization does every day,” said Tammy Whitworth, the Window World CEO.
That partnership fuels all the philanthropic efforts from franchises like Window World TX.
“We love St. Jude, and that’s why we work as hard as possible to raise as much money here in San Antonio and the Coastal Bend,” said Martin Bomba, president of Window World TX. “It’s the reason we hold our Window World Cares Charity Golf Classic and so many other things we do. It’s amazing to be part of the Window World Cares family and send St. Jude some help from here in south Texas.”
