At Window World TX, we are proud to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Oftentimes, people have heard the name and seen their logo, but aren’t quite aware of all of the wonderful things that our favorite organization does for children (and their families) all over the world. So much can be said by simply reading St. Jude’s mission.
The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Mission:
“The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.”
You may be thinking, “A family’s ability to pay? You mean they treat people for free? That doesn’t sound like big medicine to me!” You’re right! St. Jude Research Children’s Hospital is unlike any other hospital in that it is funded purely by generous donors worldwide. Pediatric diseases are physically, emotionally and financially exhausting. St. Jude and its donors do everything they can to ensure that children and their families can live longer, healthier and more comfortable lives without any added financial stress.
